Senior ROW Project Assistant – Job Overview
AtkinsRéalis seeks an energetic and highly motivated self‑starter to join our Bartow, FL office team in District1 as a Senior ROW Project Assistant. The role involves preparing special reports, analyzing data, consolidating information, responding to inquiries, pulling reports from the accounting system, anticipating the manager’s needs, and supporting the executive with conferences, appointments, and meetings.
Responsibilities- Prepare special reports, summaries, and exchange information from diverse sources.
- Respond to inquiries and select relevant information for the supervisor.
- Pull reports from the project accounting and reporting system for review.
- Prepare materials for conferences, trips, appointments and meetings, and inform appropriate personnel of matters requiring executive attention.
- Act as liaison between the senior manager and direct reports, and with external clients, government officials, and prospective clients.
- Maintain the manager’s calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Review documents for executive signature to ensure accuracy and conformity to style guidelines.
- Compose correspondence requiring technical or specialized subject‑matter knowledge for executive review and signature.
- Follow up with staff to ensure implementation of meeting commitments.
- Initiate calls to obtain services, follow up or coordinate actions to relieve the manager of administrative workload.
- Perform word processing of letters, memos and other documents that are often confidential.
- Take and transcribe meeting minutes and route incoming mail.
- Screen incoming correspondence and telephone calls, respond to routine requests, and direct non‑executive requests to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare expense reports, organization charts, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Train, advise, and disseminate information to other support staff on new policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, and presentations.
- Coordinate efforts of affected programs and review documents for filing adequacy.
- Maintain organized, updated project files and support the paperless filing initiative.
- Create and maintain efficient project schedules for internal and external clients.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent with ten years of related experience, OR an associate’s degree in an administrative field with eight years of related experience.
- Work is performed under minimal supervision; may give work direction to less experienced staff.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; strong English grammar, spelling and composition.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Expected compensation range is between $35 – $40 per hour depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
