Cerner JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BE/BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred; will accept BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with EM experience. AAPS/ABPS not accepted. Licenses:
Active Florida medical license, DEA with Florida address (Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5 required) DEA / CDS:
Active DEA with Florida address, required schedules as above

Certifications:

ACLS, ATLS (unless ABEM certified), PALS

Experience:

Residency trained in Emergency Medicine preferred; FM/IM with EM experience considered Other

Qualifications:

Flu vaccination within last 12 months, TB screening within last 12 months, COVID documentation, case logs from past 2 years, CME documentation from past 2 years, malpractice coverage $1M/$3M DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED. Perform all DOP-listed procedures (e.g., intubation, central line placement, etc.). Manage approximately 99 patients per day in a 16-bed ED.

Collaborate with nursing and support staff for efficient patient flow. Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR and comply with all regulatory requirements.
