Junior Code Compliance Investigator

The City of Bartow is seeking an entry-level Code Compliance Officer to perform inspections focused on property maintenance and zoning compliance. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, responding to complaints, documenting violations, and assisting in hearings. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and solid communication skills. A valid Florida driver’s license is required, and successful candidates must obtain Level 1 Certification in Code Enforcement.

This is an outdoor role that requires physical inspections in varying conditions.
