Substance Abuse​/Mental Health Clinician

A full-time Substance Use Clinician to work with clients transitioning from incarceration back into the community. This position is located at the Bartow Work Release Center. We partner with the Department of Corrections to provide services that support re-entry into the community.

• Provide client services including individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, and couples counseling for adults transitioning from incarceration to community living.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services and maintain accurate documentation.
• Act as a positive role model and apply theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement.

• Compassionate, motivated, a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills; energetic and creative.
• Ability to participate in the Drug Free Workplace program and pass a background check.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of experience with addictions or mental health.
• Master’s Degree with at least 1 year of experience; or Bachelor’s in social sciences with 6 months in substance abuse/mental health counseling.
• Bachelor’s in any field with 1 year of experience in substance abuse/mental health counseling;
  Master’s in social sciences with 6 months experience in SA/MH; or Master’s in any field with 1 year experience in SA/MH.
