Summary:

Provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.

Required Certification: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.

Minimum Qualifications: You may qualify for the position through one of the following ways:

• 6 months acute care experience as a patient caregiver
• 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience as a patient caregiver
• Completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an RN or LPN program
• Completion of a Bay Care‑approved Nurse Assistant/PCT program that includes a program with a minimum of 40 hours hands‑on patient care experience outside of a lab setting
• EMT certification and/or paramedic license

Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; may also qualify with a Certificate of Completion.

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
