Forensic Multidisciplinary Team Leader/Bartow, FL/1933/DR

A person in this position is responsible for the daily oversight and operation of the Forensic Multidisciplinary Team. The Team Leader will be the direct supervisor and provide guidance and oversight to the team’s case managers, therapist, and program assistants. The Team Leader, in coordination with the APRN, will direct the client admission, treatment, rehabilitation, and support services of the program.

The Team Leader will conduct clinical assessments and provide direct clinical treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to clients. A person in this position must ensure the timely, accurate, completion of required documents of the team. The Team Leader will be responsible for monitoring and approval of incidental funds for the program. The Team Leader will also perform on-call duty for crisis intervention and for staff supervision and consultation.

  • Ability to accurately review and monitor documentation of Forensic Multidisciplinary Team staff and ensure the team is meeting all applicable standards.
  • Proficient in aspects of treatment including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment interventions.
  • Understanding of the multidisciplinary process and the ability to lead client staffing meetings and to coordinate the team’s efforts to manage treatment and monitoring services across multiple entities.
Qualifications Education

Master’s degree in psychology, social work, psychiatric rehabilitation, or related human services discipline. Active license as a Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist under Chapter 491, Florida Statutes, or as a psychologist under Chapter 490,

Experience

Two years’ experience in behavioral healthcare

Knowledge of Forensic Multidisciplinary Team model preferred

Must have reliable transportation and have a valid FL driver’s license.

Required to become a driver on behalf of Peace River Center using both personal vehicle and PRC vehicles.

Must provide and maintain proof of coverage on personal vehicle for Bodily Injury Liability in the amount of $25,000/$50,000 level.
