Nursing Assistant

SUMMARY Provides medical and administrative assistance to members of the nursing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESAids physicians and nursing staff members as needed

Assists with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures in accordance with his/her level of training

Performs EKGsObtains patient history

Monitors vital signs

Obtains non-invasive body fluid specimens

All other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent.

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant Program or comparable program.

Experience working in a physician office, clinic or ambulatory health care center.

Must be CPR certified.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
