Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse on our Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to a designated patient population while utilizing the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and evidence-based practices. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care that promotes optimal outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data while responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment plans
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and a culture of compassionate care
Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Minimum of six (6) months of acute care nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Work Environment & Schedule
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Part-Time Position
• Every Other Weekend Required
• On-Site at Bartow Regional Medical Center
• No Remote Work
• No On-Call Requirements
