Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Incident Response in Bartow, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns.

- Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and individuals receiving services by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
- Respond to incidents, behavioral concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
