City of Bartow is seeking an entry-level Line Worker Apprentice to learn installation, maintenance and repair of electric transmission, distribution, substations, lighting and metering facilities. The four-year program progresses to Journeyman Line Worker with hands-on training under supervision.
Responsibilities include constructing and maintaining lines, operating digger trucks, performing standby after-hours calls, and assisting with fiber and communications lines.
