This position is responsible for the safe, reliable operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical facility utility systems, including industrial ammonia refrigeration, boiler and steam systems, reverse osmosis (RO) water systems, plant compressed air systems, electrical systems, and associated pumps, motors, valves, piping, controls, and auxiliary equipment.

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience in operation and troubleshooting preferred.
• Industrial maintenance experience with utility systems such as boilers/steam, RO water treatment, compressed air, pumps, motors, and electrical systems is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems up to 460 VAC; PLC and controls experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, P&IDs, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and operating procedures.
• Ability to recognize defective components, abnormal equipment sounds, vibration, temperature, pressure, flow, and other indications of developing mechanical or process issues.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work at heights, bend, kneel, twist, and work in temperature extremes and high-noise environments.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand instructions given in English.
• Ability to work eight-hour or 12-hour shifts, day or night shift, holidays, overtime, emergency call-ins, and facility shutdowns as required by business need.

• Safely operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot the industrial ammonia refrigeration system and associated compressors, condensers, evaporators, vessels, pumps, valves, piping, controls, and safety devices.
• Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot boiler and steam systems, including boilers, feedwater equipment, condensate systems, pumps, valves, traps, controls, piping, and related auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor boiler operating conditions and water treatment parameters; identify abnormal pressure, temperature, level, conductivity, or water-quality conditions and take appropriate corrective action within training and authorization.
• Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot reverse osmosis (RO) water systems, including pretreatment equipment, filters, membranes, pumps, tanks, valves, instrumentation, and associated water distribution equipment.
• Monitor RO system performance, including pressure, flow, conductivity, differential pressure, and water quality, and perform routine maintenance or coordinate service as required.
• Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot plant compressed air systems, including air compressors, dryers, receivers, filters, drains, controls, distribution piping, and related equipment.
• Inspect and maintain facility ventilation fans /HVAC and other mechanical utility equipment.
• Use computerized controls, HMIs, and associated software to monitor and operate facility utility systems.
• Troubleshoot motors, pumps, valves, sensors, electrical controls, and power distribution systems up to 460 VAC within qualification and authorization.
• Assist with restoration of plant utilities following power outages or equipment failures.
• Perform scheduled equipment rounds and document pressures, temperatures, levels, flows, operating hours, water quality readings, and other required operating data.
• Use the CMMS to accurately document preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, inspections, repairs, parts usage, and projects.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and initiate corrective work before conditions develop into failures or production interruptions.
• Assist contractors and vendors performing work on refrigeration, boiler/steam, RO water, compressed air, electrical, and other facility systems.
• Support general facility maintenance, including motors, piping, plumbing, light electrical work, loading dock doors, dock levelers, trailer restraints, and other building systems as assigned.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair loading dock equipment, including overhead/sectional dock doors, dock levelers, vehicle/trailer restraints, controls, sensors, hydraulic components, mechanical components, and associated safety devices.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices in machinery rooms, utility areas, shops, and equipment spaces.
• Work with warehouse and production leadership to improve equipment reliability, energy efficiency, utility performance, and facility uptime.
• Report equipment conditions, completed work, and outstanding issues to the Facilities Maintenance Manager or designated management.

• Perform all work in accordance with Peace River Citrus Products safety policies, standard operating procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and applicable OSHA requirements.
