Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is looking for Class A Drivers in the Bartow, FL area!

Drivers will be handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop & hook, no touch freight. You will be picking up trailers at a customer facility and delivering them to the plant daily, as well as delivering trailers with repaired pallets to the customers facilities.

Schedule is Monday through Friday (occasional weekends) 5A-3P or until work is completed. Pay rate is $23.50/hour.

• Deliver and pick up tractor-trailers containing wooden pallets within certain miles.
• Expected to make a certain number of deliveries.
• Expected to work 50+ hours/week.
• Will be driving automatic trucks; 53’ dry vans and/or flatbeds depending on the location.
• Complete paperwork at customer site verifying delivery and retrieval of pallets.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips.
• Submit reports after trips indicating truck conditions.
• Maintain driver log through ELD according to U.S. DOT (FMCSA) regulations in locations where required.

• Minimum 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to maneuver vehicle in difficult situations such as narrow passageways.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50-75 pounds.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to be worn (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes).
