We are currently looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Consumer Health & Biotech on behalf of one of our clients in Basel.

• Lead and scale operations across product development, supply chain, and commercialization
• Drive product development from concept to market (consumer health, nutraceuticals, probiotics, enzyme supplements)
• Own and coordinate regulatory strategy (EFSA, FDA, Novel Food, GRAS, NDIN)
• Support and execute business development initiatives and strategic partnerships
• Contribute to fundraising activities and investor communication
• Manage cross-functional projects and external partners
• Establish scalable processes while maintaining a hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset

• Background in consumer healthcare, nutraceuticals, or non‑prescription health products
• Proven experience in business development and product development
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (EFSA / FDA, Novel Food, GRAS, NDIN)
• Experience in biotech or ingredient‑based companies, ideally in scaling phases
• Entrepreneurial, independent, execution‑driven personality
• Strong communication skills across scientific, commercial, and investor audiences
