As a Purchasing Coordinator – Supplier Management, you will support the smooth execution of operational purchasing and supplier-related processes. You will play a key role in maintaining supplier data, coordinating qualification and NDA processes, and ensuring efficient handling of internal and project-related purchase orders.
In this position, you will collaborate with various internal stakeholders and contribute to reliable and well-structured procurement operations through your organized and service-oriented approach.
- Maintain, update, and manage supplier master data in SAP
- Support and track supplier qualification processes in Ariba
- Coordinate and administer non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Create and process purchase orders for internal needs (e.g., departments, projects, operational units)
- Assist with project-related procurement and purchase requisitions
- Monitor purchase order processes and follow up on deliveries and open items
- Communicate and coordinate with internal interfaces such as Purchasing, Finance, Legal, project teams, and other departments
- Provide administrative support within supplier and procurement management
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all relevant activities
- Handle inquiries and support day-to-day operational procurement topics
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification
- Initial experience in an administrative or commercial support role is an advantage
- Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience with SAP and/or Ariba is an advantage
- Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style
- Strong service mindset and good communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to work independently and consistently follow up on open tasks
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland as required (by prior arrangement)
- Language skills:
German C1 and English B2 - Pragmatic, hands-on, and team-oriented personality
