Position Overview

As an Investor Relations Officer, you will manage investor communications and analyze market sentiment, ensuring a continuous information flow to shareholders and bondholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting & Presentations:
    Manage the preparation of quarterly results presentations for the management team and actively participate in the preparation of the Finance Report.
  • Investor & Analyst Relations:
    Act as a key point of contact for analysts and investors, processing all finance and sustainability (ESG) requests, and maintain an internal network of subject matter experts.
  • Fixed‑Income Management:
    Lead all fixed‑income related activities, including handling requests from bondholders, supporting new debt issuance, and supporting annual reviews with rating agencies in collaboration with Group Treasury.
  • Market Intelligence & Valuation:
    Monitor sell-side reports, contextualize consensus estimates, and maintain an internal company valuation model with Group Planning.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Liaise with Group Finance, Legal, BD and Communications on strategic topics such as business development, regulatory changes and ad‑hoc release processes.
  • Capital Market Events:
    Participate in preparation of capital market days (Digitalization Day, Pharma Day, Diagnostics Day) by developing storylines and slide decks for individual speakers.
  • IR Infrastructure:
    Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Investor Relations website and associated digital tools.
Qualifications
  • Finance, accounting or business background with at least five years of experience at the group level of a global Pharma/Biotech company, including hands‑on involvement in quarterly and annual results review.
  • Deep interest and validated understanding of capital markets and company valuations, specifically within the healthcare sector.
  • Solid foundational understanding of accounting policies.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; proficiency in Bloomberg considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English;
    German language skills are a clear advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; ability to explain financial value drivers and complex business concepts.
  • Proven ability to network and liaise with cross‑functional groups (Finance, Legal, Sustainability).
  • Thrives in a dedicated, collaborative team environment.
