THEPOSITION
We are looking for a dedicated Legal Assistant / Corporate Paralegal to join us at our offices in Basel and Zurich Switzerland. You will be an integral part of Avolta’s global Legal & Compliance team, with primary responsibility for the administrative and paralegal work streams within the HQ Legal function.
YOUR ROLEYour responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day administration of the company’s centralized signature process for legal documents (e.g. contracts, corporate documentation).
- Administrative coordination with notary, external counsel and public authorities.
- Maintenance of legal entity management and contract lifecycle tools.
- General administrative support to members of the Legal & Compliance team.
- Support with matter management, e-billing.
- Coordination of departmental projects and initiatives.
- Processing of know-your-customer (KYC) and vendor due diligence requests.
- Support with corporate housekeeping and the preparation of standard corporate and legal documents.
- Handling internal stakeholder requests and coordination with members of the Legal & Compliance team.
Our ideal candidate will have the following background:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, corporate paralegal or similar position in a legal department or a law firm, ideally in a multi-jurisdictional context.
- Full professional proficiency in English and German.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong process management and attention to detail.
- Proactive, independent working style with a high level of resilience and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Words, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Flexibility with respect to place of work (Basel and Zurich) is required.
