The Senior Director Distribution and Customer Services has Europe Regional scope and responsibilities, the position reports into the Sr VP Commercial Operations. He/She oversees the strategic planning, coordination and execution of distribution operations for Be One Products, ensuring seamless alignment of physical and financial flows. This role manages relationships with distributors, wholesalers, third-party logistics provides (3PL) and channel partners, while leveraging people process and systems for to lead/support internal and 3rd parties in the order-to-cash (OTC) process.
The Senior Director is also responsible for designing, building and managing Customer Services portfolio The Senior Director is a proactive leader with expertise in pharmaceutical distribution, temperature-controlled products, wholesaler, inventory management, channel management and customer services working with Finance, Quality, Regulatory and Tax. The Senior Director is responsible for an opex budget of ~5M USD, this for the following sites currently in operation Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, United Kingdom, Italy and is supported with a leadership team of 4, who have 10 direct reports, across Order-To-Invoice, Invoice to Cash and Operations.
** Distribution Strategy for Europe:
** Maintain and or develop a comprehensive distribution strategy for Europe. ensure timely, cost-effective and compliant delivery of Be One Products (ambient and cold chain) aligning physical product flow with financial objectives.
** Wholesaler Management:
** Select onboard and manage relationships with wholesalers to ensure alignment with company standards, inventory requirements, and market demands. Monitor wholesaler performance through SAP analytics to optimize stock levels and financial goals.
** Channel Management**:
Oversee Distribution channels from direct to pharmacies, hospitals and wholesalers and specialty pharmacy networks, to ensure effective market penetration and customer satisfaction, coordinating with sales and marketing teams to align channel strategy.
** Customer Services:
** Design, build, and manage a comprehensive customer service portfolio that aligns with organizational goals and enable “beyond the pill differentiation”. Implement innovative programs to enhance customer satisfaction, oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality service delivery, and monitor customer feedback for continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs effectively, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on service effectiveness while fostering a culture of excellence through ongoing training and development initiatives.
** SAP ERP Order-to-Cash:
** Provide oversight of the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process within SAP ERP, encompassing order management, customer validation, credit management, pricing administration, delivery scheduling, invoicing, and payment application and collections for distributors, wholesalers, and channel partners. Ensure close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders (i.e. Commercial, Finance, 3rd Parties) to maintain alignment between operational processes and financial reporting requirements, supporting accurate and compliant revenue recognition.
** Inventory Management:
** The position conducts inventory reconciliation, including managing inventory counts and audits, to ensure accuracy between physical stock, SAP records, and 3PL/wholesaler reports, resolving discrepancies promptly in collaboration with 3PL providers.
