Syspro Automation is an engineering company focused on GMP Automation, working globally with offices in Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and the United States.
We are looking for a highly driven and strategically minded Business Developer to accelerate our growth within the European Life Sciences sector, specifically in Switzerland and Ireland.
Main responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in Life Sciences companies.
- Promote Industrial Automation Engineering, CSV Consulting and Technical Services solutions tailored to GMP environments.
- Develop commercial strategies to expand Syspro Automation’s presence in Switzerland and Ireland.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prepare client proposals and customized solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Represent the company at industry meetings, networking events and client visits.
Required skills and experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of proven sales or business development experience within Industrial Automation Engineering, CSV Consulting, or Technical Services directly serving the Pharmaceutical/Biotech sector.
- Professional with a solid track record in the sector who brings an extensive, well-established network of industry contacts and proven references.
- Deep familiarity with Life Sciences manufacturing environments, technical terminologies (DCS, PLC, Batch processing), and regulatory frameworks (GMP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Experience with Emerson Delta
V and/or Siemens PCS7 services is a major plus. - Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in an international environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and German.
- Availability to travel frequently within Switzerland and Ireland.
