Client Service Lead – Global & DACH Region
Audience Communication and Events AG is a boutique internal communications, engagement and strategic events agency partnering with leading multinational pharmaceutical and biotech organizations to create meaningful scientific engagement and change through exceptional stakeholder experiences.
We are seeking a highly experienced, independent and proactive professional for the position of Client Service Lead – Global & DACH Region (100%) in Basel, Switzerland. The role will drive exceptional client service, business growth and operational excellence across our Global and DACH client portfolio.
Responsibilities- Serve as the senior point of contact for key client accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders across pharmaceutical and biotech organizations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities for added value and strengthening long‑term partnerships.
- Drive organic account growth and develop new business opportunities across the DACH region, achieving agreed growth and client acquisition targets.
- Lead the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation and conversion.
- Develop commercially sound proposals, scopes of work and budgets while ensuring commercial viability and profitability across client engagements.
- Provide leadership across cross‑functional teams and partner closely with strategy, creative, production and project delivery teams to ensure outstanding client outcomes.
- 8+ years of experience in medical communications, healthcare consulting, healthcare events, pharmaceutical services or a related agency environment.
- Proven success managing and growing strategic client relationships within the pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare sectors.
- Demonstrated track record of winning new business and delivering measurable revenue growth.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior‑level stakeholders and decision‑makers.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience developing proposals, budgets and responses to competitive tenders and RFPs.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive and highly results‑oriented, with strong relationship‑building, leadership and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Fluency in English required.
