Role: Field Service Engineer / Forklift Mechanic
Location: Basildon, Essex (accepting applications from surrounding areas)
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 DOE
Hours: 07:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 16.00 finish Friday (49 hour week)
The Package- Salary between £40,000-£50,000 salary dependent of experience
- Company van & fuel card + limited personal use with van

- Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on forklift and plant machinery. Collaborate with customers surrounding the lifting and handling products. The ability to work independently within the customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered. Actively travelling to sites and carrying out repairs of the equipment and creating solutions. Working on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
- Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)
- Previous experience working in the Forklift, Plant, HGV and/or Agricultural industries (advantageous)
- Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
- Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Full UK Drivers License
