First Group plc is recruiting a NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds equivalent) qualified PSV/HGV Mechanic to join the busy First Bus Basildon Depot. Basildon is a fully electrified depot with state‑of‑the‑art vehicles and charging facilities, and you will be upskilled in electric vehicle maintenance.
In this hands‑on role you will diagnose faults, complete mechanical repairs and replace parts as needed, carry out servicing and inspections, and respond to breakdowns.
