What We Do

24x7 Group is one of the largest independently run companies in the UK, delivering contracted special education transport for Local Authorities and has been providing Home to School Transport Service for children with special educational needs and vulnerable adults since 2001. With increased demand from County Councils, we now have opportunities for people like you to join our friendly team across the country.

We have part‑time PA work available in your local area. The work is every school day for both morning and afternoon runs, averaging between 12.5 and 25 hours per week. This rewarding role supports children and young adults with a range of special educational needs to and from school.

• Support children or adults getting on and off from the vehicles.
• Look after the emotional and medical needs of the passengers during the journey (training is provided).
• Ensure passengers are always safe.
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy manner.
• Be available both morning and afternoon for all school days.
• Positions are permanent but part‑time.

• Experience working with children is an advantage but not essential.
• Experience working with special needs is an advantage but not essential.
• Good command of the English language.
• DBS criminal record check as you will be working with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults.
• Friendly, positive attitude, enjoy working with children and be reliable.
• Ability and willingness to work with children and adults of varying needs.
• Previous experience would be beneficial but not essential.
• Fit enough to push wheelchairs for short distances if required.
