We're working with several welcoming and well-established nursery settings across Basingstoke who are looking for enthusiastic childcare professionals to join their growing teams. Whether you're starting your Early Years career or bringing years of experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to support children as they learn, play, and develop in a caring environment.

The Opportunity

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll have an important role in creating positive learning experiences and supporting children's development through play, exploration, and meaningful interaction.

Key Duties
  • Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children.
  • Encourage learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Deliver and support fun, age-appropriate activities throughout the day.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members.
  • Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones.
  • Support daily routines including mealtimes, hygiene, and personal care.
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery procedures at all times.
  • Promote inclusion, confidence, wellbeing, and positive behaviour.
About You
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification desirable.
  • Passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and team working abilities.
  • Patient, caring, and approachable nature.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
  • Previous nursery, preschool, or childcare experience is beneficial but not essential.
