We are recruiting a Head Receptionist for a well‑regarded hotel near Basingstoke. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a confident Reception Supervisor ready to progress, or an experienced Head Receptionist seeking further development within a supportive and professional team.

Working in a quality‑driven environment, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the Reception Manager and leading a small, dedicated team. The hotel is in a rural location, so reliable transport is essential.

• Salary up to £29,000 plus circa £1,500 service charge

• Deliver a warm, professional welcome and ensure outstanding guest service
• Handle enquiries, requests and complaints efficiently and at a high standard
• Train, motivate and develop the reception team
• Assist with rota planning, task allocation and team performance management
• Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
• Ensure all front‑office procedures and standards are followed

• Previous experience as a Head Receptionist or Reception Supervisor
• Positive, solutions‑focused approach to challenges
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive mindset
• Flexible, hands‑on attitude in a busy hotel environment
• Genuine passion for delivering excellent guest service
• Ability to work a mixture of early and late shifts (40 hours per week)
