Based near Basingstoke, the successful Ecologist will join a close-knit environmental division delivering ecological advice to clients within sectors including transport, utilities and construction.

The Ecologist will play a key role in survey work, technical reporting and environmental support throughout the planning and delivery stages of projects. This position offers excellent exposure to diverse schemes alongside the opportunity to work with experienced environmental professionals in a supportive setting.

• Carrying out ecological and protected species surveys
• Preparing technical ecology reports and assessments
• Supporting habitat and biodiversity initiatives
• Providing ecological guidance to project teams
• Assisting with client communication and project coordination

• Experience working as an Ecologist within consultancy
• Relevant degree in Ecology or a related discipline
• Knowledge of current UK environmental legislation
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Ability to live within commuting distance of the Basingstoke office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
