HGV Technician / PSV Technician
Location:
Basingstoke
Salary: £175 per day + overtime
The Role of the HGV TechnicianWe’re hiring an experienced HGV Technician / PSV Technician to join a leading UK bus operator in Basingstoke. You’ll play a key role in keeping a modern fleet safe, compliant, and on the road. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with strong earning potential and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities of the HGV Technician- Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Conduct MOT preparation and safety checks
- Ensure all work meets DVSA and company standards
- Complete job cards and documentation accurately
- Experience as an HGV, PSV, or Bus Technician
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- A safety-first mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
