About the Role
We are seeking skilled Field Service Engineers to support Linde’s full range of forklift and material handling equipment across the UK. Candidates with experience as vehicle technicians, forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, or related roles are especially encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material‑handling equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of fleet equipment.
- Maintain accurate service records using company IT systems.
- Provide high‑quality customer service while working autonomously and as part of a team.
- Ensure all required tooling and safety equipment are used and maintained.
- Experience in vehicle or forklift repair, plant fitting, or plant technology.
- Knowledge or background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Hydraulics.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory.
- Valid full UK driving licence.
- Proficiency with IT equipment and willingness to keep service records digitally.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
- Competitive salary scale based on experience.
- Choice of a 40‑ or 45‑hour work week (Monday to Friday).
