Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer

Job Purpose

The job purpose is to carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, undertake small installation works and respond to site engineering emergencies.

• Ensure routine maintenance on all electrical / mechanical systems meets and exceeds expectations and agreed SLAs.
• Carry out reactive repairs on all systems as required, calling relevant sub‑contractors.
• Perform all PPM maintenance as per the instruction set provided within Concept.
• Report all PPM defects via the KPMG defect process and liaise with the supervisor for defect resolution.
• Update weekly equipment reports with any change in status.
• Coordinate with sub‑contractors for repairs / quotations, monitoring their performance.
• Confirm works have been undertaken correctly and the area is left satisfactory.
• Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks via PDA in line with KPMG policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional image of CBRE, delivering excellent customer service.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with client representatives and personnel.
• Ensure a safe & healthy working environment and compliance with all company and client site policies.
• Accurately maintain site logs and associated paperwork.
• Participate in the call‑out rota and maintain knowledge of all systems on site.
• Collaborate with other trade engineers to resolve electrical issues within SLA agreements.
• Commit to personal development and lifelong learning to maintain professional and technical skills.

• Good basic education with written and spoken English and basic mathematics.
• Recognised Electrical Qualification.
• Knowledge of C&G 17th Edition in Electrical Installations.
• Knowledge of C&G Test and Inspection.
• Good knowledge of various building electrical systems and experience with PPM regimes.
• Current knowledge of BS standards relating to electrical systems, including emergency lighting, fire alarm, power, BMS, etc.

• Previous working with structured PPM delivery.
• Experience working with business‑critical equipment.

• Previous experience within a health and safety‑led role.
• Experience in electrical systems management and paperwork.
