Multi Trade Operative

Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Multi‑Trade Operative to join our dedicated Repairs Team in North Hampshire. Based out of our Basingstoke office, you'll work across North Hampshire and surrounding areas, delivering high‑quality repairs and maintenance works for social housing properties. • Drive a company van when necessary (full, clean current driving licence held for at least 1 year).

Applicants must hold City & Guilds NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in a trade discipline (experience will also be considered). They should have proven experience in a multi‑trade or general maintenance role, be competent in at least two core trades (plumbing, carpentry, plastering, painting), and have demonstrable experience in UPVC repairs and installation alongside competent carpentry skills.

Strong customer service skills and experience working in occupied homes with professionalism. Adherence to safety and safeguarding policies is essential. The role requires the ability to handle safety and safeguarding responsibilities.

Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence checks and DBS check.

Full‑time, permanent role. 39 hours per week with either 8:00‑4:30pm or 10:00‑6:30pm shifts. Salary up to £39,500 plus up to £1,800 bonus, use of company van.
