Duties of a MET Technician:

Perform mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated vehicles
Conduct dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
Reassemble vehicles with new parts as necessary
Carry out inspections and testing to ensure quality standards
Identify faults or work required for safety and efficiency
Road-test vehicles safely and legally to confirm roadworthiness

Requirements of a MET Technician:

Previous experience as a MET Technician in a busy bodyshop environment
Attention to detail and quality awareness
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
NVQ or ATA qualifications preferred, but time-served individuals will also be considered
Ability to work efficiently within a team and meet deadlines
