Looking for a Vehicle Technician role with no weekend work and earning potential of £45,000+?
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join a busy and professional dealership workshop in Basingstoke.
With a basic salary of up to £38,000, bonus earning potential taking your OTE to £45,000+, and a Monday to Friday working week with no weekends, this role offers a brilliant combination of earning potential and work-life balance.

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll work as part of a skilled workshop team carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:

· Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work

· Completing MOT tests in line with DVSA standards

· Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using current diagnostic equipment

· Carrying out repairs efficiently and accurately

· Working towards productivity and efficiency targets

· Ensuring work is completed right first time

· Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service

· Completing job cards and associated workshop documentation accurately

· Working collaboratively with the wider workshop and aftersales team
 
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician with:

· NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent

· A valid MOT Tester Licence

· Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic

· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability

· Experience using modern diagnostic equipment

· A proven ability to deliver high-quality, right-first-time repairs

· The ability to work towards productivity and efficiency targets

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· A flexible and customer-focused approach

· Full UK Driving Licence
