You'll work across a varied portfolio of commercial sites and high-profile clients, with a company that invests in its engineers and provides the equipment, training and support needed to progress.
The Role As a Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and small works of electronic security systems across a range of commercial and private client sites. Your responsibilities will include:
Installing, servicing and maintaining CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems. Carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs. Completing small works, upgrades, modifications and system expansions. Working with systems including Axis, Hanwha, Galaxy, Texecom and Paxton. Supporting a range of high-profile commercial clients, including business parks, commercial premises and private estates. Completing service documentation and ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard.
Managing your own workload and working independently on site, while being supported by an experienced engineering team. Participating in a 1-in-5 call-out rota, with a standby allowance. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Security Engineer. Strong technical experience across CCTV, intruder alarms and/or access control. Solid installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding skills.
Experience with Axis, Hanwha, Galaxy, Texecom and Paxton would be advantageous. A professional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and meet deadlines. Full UK driving licence. A genuine interest in developing your technical skills and progressing within the security industry.
