As a Branch Ambassador, you’ll play a vital role in our customers’ banking experience by conducting a wide variety of transactions such as check cashing, deposits, transfers, and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures.

You’ll also resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently, delivering an extraordinary customer experience. Our rapidly changing tech and financial environment requires Ambassadors who are adaptable, have a growth mindset, and are customer experience‑obsessed. The Branch team exists to enhance the financial lives of people in the communities we serve, and we seek outgoing, passionate people who want to be part of this reimagined banking experience.

• Friendly and engaging; able to connect with customers and help with technology challenges, casual conversation, or showcasing our services and products.
• Ability to reduce customer financial anxiety by identifying personal and business financial needs.
• Knowledge of compliance; ensures all audit and security policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations.
• Support customers in all areas of the branch, from cash handling to service needs, and rotate throughout the branch based on customer needs.
• Curious and eager to learn; will be trained on Capital One’s products, services, and experiences to guide customers toward their financial goals.
• Digitally savvy; able to showcase the branch’s technology and educate customers on mobile and online banking using laptops and iPads.
• Team player who can inspire and be inspired by fellow banking professionals.
• Research and answer customer inquiries with the intent of enhancing customer retention and engagement, leveraging various tools and channels to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ability to travel between branches in the assigned local area and support the market as assigned.

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience.
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.

• Associate’s degree.
• 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking Experience.

Salary for this role in Bastrop, LA is $43,680 per year. Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based on the agreed number of hours.
