RN - Labor & Delivery

Bastrop, LA | Labor & Delivery

Contract | Nights | 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM | 5/2 rotating schedule (2 on, 2 off, 5 on, 5 off beginning Week 2; Week 1 is orientation) | Expected hours: 48/36 split | Schedule and shift are firm

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients throughout the labor and delivery process
• Support a unit averaging approximately 15–25 deliveries per month
• Utilize OBIX and Med Host EMR systems for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with LPN staff who typically cover OB and Nursery areas within the connected unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition

• Active Louisiana RN license or multistate compact license required at time of submission
• AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
• AHA ACLS certification required at time of submission
• AHA NRP certification required at time of submission
• AWHONN certification required at time of submission

• Prior experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with OBIX fetal monitoring systems
• Experience working in smaller community or rural hospital environments

• ASAP start available with a motivated hiring team ready to interview quickly
• Housing options are readily available in the nearby Monroe area
