Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to support commercial construction, renovation, and facility maintenance projects. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in office buildings, warehouses, and other commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex electrical systems while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain electrical systems for commercial construction projects and facilities.
• Install and wire power distribution equipment, including:
• Transformers
• Breaker panels
• Motor controls
• Relays
• Sensors
• Electrical outlets
• Install, connect, and commission equipment including motors, pumps, fans, compressors, generators, and other industrial machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues.
• Select appropriate materials and hardware for installations, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Prepare time and material estimates for electrical projects.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, tools, and equipment as required.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Current Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an electrician or in the electrical field.

• 5+ years of electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local electrical codes.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Experience estimating materials and project requirements.
• Strong understanding of:
• Electrical circuits and wiring
• Power distribution systems
• Transformers
• Load sizing
• Experience installing conduit and pulling cable through conduit and trenches.
• Experience building and wiring electrical panels.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Proficient with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet aggressive project deadlines.
• Valid driver's license.

• Night Shift: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday
  - Friday or Wednesday
  - Saturday or Thursday
  - Sunday
• Hours: 6:00 PM - 4:40 AM
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Includes a 30-minute unpaid meal break

• Lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Frequently stoop, bend, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
• Travel for short- and long-term assignments as needed.
• Work outdoors in active construction environment
