JOB VACANCY: Licensed Electrician / Licensed Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Technician

LOCATION: 4099 Naff Avenue Bastrop, Louisiana 71220

APPLICATION PERIOD: October 27, 2025 - November 14, 2025 (or until positions are filled)

• Must be in good physical health and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
• Must pass a performance test demonstrating job‑related skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a licensed electrician or HVAC technician.
• Proven experience in major projects related to the trade.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Must pass required pre‑employment screenings:
  Background Check, DCFS CANS, Drug Test.

Maintain and repair school buildings and grounds to ensure safe, efficient operations. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and HVAC systems across district facilities.

REPORTS TO: General Foreman or Supervisor/Administrator in Charge

EVALUATOR: General Foreman or Supervisor/Administrator in Charge

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months

COMPENSATION: Level 2 Schedule 3

• Perform skilled tasks in accordance with state and local codes and the standard practices of the trade.
• Accept responsibility for the quality and quantity of work produced.
• Promote high standards of safety and good housekeeping methods in work areas.
• Perform all types of work assigned by the foreman.
• Assist in the preparation of job estimates and recommended purchase of necessary supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by higher authority.
