Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate monitor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crisis intervention, social work, or family law issues. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a passion for helping children and families. We are also hiring a therapeutic level monitor at a commensurate hourly rate. Clean driving record is required for all positions.
Responsibilities- Provide crisis management support to children and families, ensuring that all individuals receive the necessary resources and services to address their needs.
- Manage conflict situations effectively, utilizing conflict management strategies to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with child protective services to ensure that all children are receiving the necessary care and protection.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring that all data is collected and analyzed in compliance with organizational standards.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures, staying up-to-date with best practices in the field of child and family services.
- A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience working in supervised visitation, child protective services, family law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in crisis intervention and crisis management.
- Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques and their application in a child and family services setting.
- Ability to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage conflict situations effectively.
- Experience with family law and child welfare policies and procedures.
- Certification in crisis intervention or a related field is preferred.
