Dean Word Company is seeking dependable and hardworking Heavy Highway Laborers to join our growing heavy civil team. We specialize in TXDOT roadway, grading, and infrastructure projects across Central Texas.
Responsibilities- Assist crews with roadway and highway construction
- Work around heavy equipment (dozers, excavators, loaders, rollers, etc.)
- Perform general labor duties including shoveling, grading, and site cleanup
- Set up and maintain traffic control and job site safety
- Follow all safety and TXDOT requirements
- Heavy highway or construction experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- TXDOT experience is a plus (not required)
