Job Description & How to Apply Below

You have accomplished difficult things. You understand what real standards look like from the inside. You recognize the gap between effort and execution. If you're ready to apply that discipline in a setting where it redirects the course of a young person's life, this position was designed for you.

Alpha School leverages AI-driven 1:1 learning, enabling students to complete core academics in roughly two hours per day. The remaining time is dedicated to life skills, self-directed projects, and meaningful development. At our most demanding campuses, students require more than oversight. They need a credible mentor capable of assessing group dynamics, establishing tone, and guiding them past resistance, distraction, and internal doubt.

This is not conventional classroom teaching. You will not deliver lectures, assign grades, or develop lesson plans. Your work centers on coaching. You will facilitate structured life-skills sessions. You will interpret data to identify what's blocking a student's progress, then guide with intention and precision until they execute.

If you carry an elite credential and a proven history of elevating others' performance, we're interested in speaking with you. Apply to contribute to a campus environment where students arrive prepared, develop concrete skills, and surpass challenging benchmarks.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Conduct 1:1 and small-group coaching that converts student aspirations into sustained action and trackable outcomes
  • Interpret analytics and personal objectives to identify obstacles and design ambitious, customized motivational strategies
  • Facilitate high-rigor life-skills sessions through authentic narrative, guided reflection, and practical application, then evaluate proficiency
  • Direct daily launch meetings that establish culture, uphold rigorous expectations, and prepare students before work begins
  • Build trusted advisory relationships with students and their families by maintaining high standards, consistency, and discernment
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Instruct traditional classes, deliver lectures, or provide academic tutoring in a conventional instructor capacity
  • Develop curricula, draft lesson plans, or evaluate student assignments
  • Supervise staff, oversee campus operations, or assume administrative leadership responsibilities
  • Compromise standards to achieve immediate compliance or superficial progress
