Energy Services Mechanic Sr; On-Site

• Install, remove, inspect, repair, test, adjust, and align mechanical equipment, including air compressors, heat exchangers, gear reducers, valves, pumps, and fans. Dismantle and reassemble turbine generators.
• Perform welding on various types of piping and/or structures as required and certified to conduct. Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting, welding, and fitting. Perform sandblasting and painting operations. Perform excavations in accordance with OSHA guidelines. Perform confined space entries as required.
• Assist electrical and control personnel in performing various tasks.
• Operate handheld manual tools and power tools (e.g., rock saws and cut-off saws) in performing repair and maintenance tasks.

• Four or more years of experience in maintenance and/or repair of mechanical equipment or other relevant experience.
• A degree(s) in mechanical or industrial maintenance, instrumentation, controls or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

• Experience in an energy services environment.
• Experience in welding and using power tools.
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
