Loan Officer III – Bastrop, TX

Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a well-established community bank in Bastrop, TX.

Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Loan Officer III with 5–6 years of lending experience and a strong background in community banking
. Due to the competitive banking market, candidates must have previous community banking experience and a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

• Develop and manage new and existing lending relationships
• Interview loan applicants and evaluate creditworthiness
• Make lending decisions within established authority
• Cross-sell banking products and services
• Ensure loan compliance and portfolio quality
• Provide exceptional customer service and financial guidance

• 5–6 years of lending experience required
• Community banking experience required
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent education and experience)
• NMLS registration (or ability to maintain registration)
• Strong communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
