As a
** Patient Access Representative
** you willbe the first point of contact for patients , ensuring they receive fast, compassionate, andaccurateaccess to care
.

This is more than registration —it’sa frontline healthcare customer service role where you directlyimpactpatient experience, hospital operations, and revenue cycle success.

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in process working across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently

• Answer phones and gather
  ** accurate
  * * patient information
  ** quickly
  * * in a fast-paced environment

• Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration and answer questions with confidence, clarity, and compassion

• Build trust with patients during moments when they may be ill, anxious, confused, or overwhelmed

• ** Navigate diverse
  ** insurance plans and coverage details, enter demographics and medical data, collectco-paysand provide cost estimates when applicable

• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow

• Exceptional customer service experience,communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong composure and professionalismina fast-paced environment

• Ability to
  ** multitask and prioritize quickly with

• Comfortable with shifting priorities based on patient needs

• Experience with patient access, medical registration, insurance verification, or front deskis a plus (but not required)

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements

• Experience in healthcare administration & patient access

• Exposure to revenue cycle, insurance processes, and hospital operations
