- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree
- 1+ years of technical recruiting experience
- Experience sourcing for engineering, hardware, or technical manufacturing roles
- Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools
- Ability to distinguish between the top 50% and the top 5% of talent within their respective fields
- High tolerance for ambiguity and a bias toward action
As a Talent Sourcer, you will build talent pipelines for very technically demanding roles. You’ll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to identify and engage exceptional talent. In many cases, you are candidates’ first encounter with the company, and it is your job to represent the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm. We work in teams and focus on collaboration, yet require a high degree of autonomy.
So, while you are not expected to go it alone, you are expected to show initiative, take responsibility, and see tasks through to completion.
- Proactively source passive candidates via X, Linked In Recruiter, Boolean search, Git Hub, niche technical forums, and other channels
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for hard-to-fill engineering roles
- Leverage AI-powered sourcing and research tools to increase pipeline speed and quality while maintaining a personal touch
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and refine sourcing strategy
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens to assess interest and qualifications
- Track sourcing metrics and pipeline health and share relevant data points with recruiters and hiring teams
- Represent the company’s mission and culture compellingly to prospective candidates
- Stay current on market trends, competitor talent pools, and compensation benchmarks
