The New Home Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bastrop, TX. This position is responsible for guiding prospective buyers through the new home sales process, including greeting visitors, conducting model home tours, and explaining community features, floor plans, pricing, and available options. The role includes qualifying leads, maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, preparing purchase agreements, and coordinating closely with construction, design, and lending partners to support a smooth buyer experience.
The New Home Consultant will follow up with prospective buyers, support them throughout the build cycle, and ensure excellent customer service before and after contract. This role also involves participating in sales meetings, staying informed about market trends and community inventory, and representing Sitterle Homes in a professional manner at all times.
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse home buyers.
- Experience in New Home Sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a residential or similar environment.
- Ability to provide guidance to buyers on processes, timelines, and home features, ensuring clear expectations and understanding.
- Effective Negotiation skills to manage offers, options, and contract terms while maintaining positive relationships and alignment with company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities for model home tours and community overviews.
- Comfortable with technology and CRM (Hubspot) or sales tracking tools to manage leads, contracts, and follow-up activities.
- Ability to work on-site during community hours, including weekends, evenings and some Holidays as needed.
- Previous experience in residential real estate or homebuilding is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
