CDL Operator

Position Overview

Operate electrical construction heavy equipment such as aerial devices (bucket trucks), cranes, digger derricks, backhoes, bulldozers, drill rigs, and other associated heavy equipment related to the electrical construction industry.

  A.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Work performed outside and includes exposure to extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, and noise.
• Willingness to work in various locations across the state/country and for extended periods, when required.
• Ability to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies.
• Willing to submit and pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Ability to perform all assigned tasks in a safe and effective manner.
• Ability to understand and communicate information and work in a team environment.
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, climb, and reach; able to lift, carry and place heavy objects.
• Must have an acceptable MVR.
• We participate in E‑Verify.

This role requires the physical ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.

Physical demands by activity level:

• Lift/Carry – Constantly (50+ lbs.)
• Stand – Constantly (10 lbs. or less)
• Walk – Frequently (11‑20 lbs.)
• Manually Manipulate – Frequently (50+ lbs.)
• Reach Over Shoulder – Frequently
• Crawl – Occasionally (12 lbs. or less)
• Squat or Kneel – Frequently (13‑25 lbs.)
• Speak – Constantly (40+ lbs.)

• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - rubber gloves/sleeves, hard hats, safety glasses, goggles, shields, face masks.
• Sense of Balance.
• Ability to sustain awkward positions/posture.
