Foreman

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-exempt position

Benefits eligibility: 60 days after hire date

Full Time

Reports to: Regional Superintendent

To supervise employees on jobsite and ensure work is done in a quality, timely and safe manner. To manage day‑to‑day work of the crew and supplies needed in order to complete the job as scheduled.

• Schedule employees so that shifts are properly covered, and man hours are utilized in the most efficient way possible
• Ensure permits are acquired for work and excavation
• Oversee employees during projects
• Develop and maintain positive working relations with crew to ensure job is completed on time and on budget
• Conduct tailgate safety meetings with crews
• Ensure paperwork is current
• Manage scope of work
• Other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent knowledge and experience required. Field experience and knowledge of pipeline construction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer service orientation. Attention to detail, initiative, and reliability. Skill balancing the needs of the customer, the needs of employees, and the needs of the company and the ability to coordinate many open issues ellent supervisory skills and the ability to motivate others.

Work hours are generally a regular work week of 40 hours; however, exact hours to work each day may vary as required.
