We're seeking an experienced Senior Asset Advisor to join our team in managing a prominent shopping center in Batam, Riau Islands. You will provide strategic advice on asset performance optimizing, collaborating with head office teams in Jakarta to drive innovative solutions, and ensuring clients receive insightful and tailored property recommendations. This is a full-time on-site role that will be based in our client property.
Responsibilities- Planning, coordinating, directing, and controlling building management activities
- Coordinating and communicating effectively with the client on-site team
- Conducting inspections and surveys to identify maintenance needs
- Maintaining control rooms, utility areas, and facilities
- Ensuring safety, security, and cleanliness
- Assisting with other engineering tasks
- Managing budgets and contracts
- Responding to emergencies
- Evaluating service contracts and outsourcing decisions
- Handling staff recruitment and training
- Overseeing staff performance and resolving issues efficiently
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or other related field.
- 10+ years of experience at the same role in shopping center (mall) either as General Manager, Building Manager, Facility Manager, Property Consultant in Engineering, Mall Manager, Chief Engineer or other related role.
- Proven track record in mall or shopping center management, including operations, leasing, and tenant relations.
- Strong experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
- Experience in customer service management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English communication
- Ability to handle complex, multi-faceted tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of local market trends and retail industry dynamics.
- Someone who has local experience will be preferred.
- Professional certifications or memberships related to real estate, asset management, or property maintenance are considered an advantage.
