The Lifting Supervisor will oversee all lifting operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and industry standards tin Engineering Indonesia. This role involves planning, supervising, and executing various lifting activities in a demanding industrial environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and supervise all lifting and rigging operations, including the selection of appropriate lifting equipment and personnel.
  • Conduct pre-lift meetings and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.
  • Ensure all lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, slings, and shackles, are regularly inspected, certified, and maintained according to regulations.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of crane operators, riggers, and other lifting personnel.
  • Monitor lifting operations to ensure adherence to lift plans, safety procedures, and relevant regulations (e.g., LOLER, ASME B30 standards).
  • Investigate and report any incidents, near misses, or accidents related to lifting operations, implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide on-site training and guidance to lifting teams to enhance their skills and ensure safe working practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of all lifting operations, equipment inspections, and personnel certifications.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate lifting activities with overall project schedules.
  • Promote a strong safety culture among all personnel involved in lifting operations.
Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in a heavy industrial, construction, or manufacturing environment, preferably in the engineering sector.
  • Valid Lifting Supervisor certification and in-depth knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop safe lift plans.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions in complex situations.
  • Strong commitment to safety and a proactive approach to hazard identification and mitigation.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • First Aid and Basic Safety certifications are highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and lift plans.
  • Familiar with lifting operations, rigging practices, and lifting equipment inspection requirements.
  • Must possess one or more valid SIO certifications for Mobile Crane, Overhead Crane, Forklift.
