- Operate the crane safely and efficiently to complete lifting activities without incidents, injuries, or equipment damage.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and ensure the crane is maintained in a safe working condition at all times.
- Execute lifts according to approved lift plans
, load charts, method statements, and site safety requirements. - Achieve 100% compliance with company HSE policies, regulatory standards, and permit-to-work requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with riggers, signalmen, supervisors, and lifting teams to ensure safe lifting operations.
- Monitor load weights, ground conditions, and crane configurations to prevent overloading and unsafe operating conditions.
- Minimize equipment downtime by promptly reporting defects, abnormal conditions, and maintenance requirements.
- Protect company assets by ensuring proper crane operation, housekeeping, and care of lifting accessories.
- Maintain accurate operational records
, inspection checklists, and daily equipment reports. - Support project productivity goals by completing lifting activities safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.
