Role DescriptionThis full-time Automotive Technician role is an on-site position based in Batavia, IL. The Automotive Technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, fluid checks, and manufacturer-recommended services. Daily responsibilities include oil changes, brake services, suspension work, and general automotive repair on a variety of vehicles. The role also involves accurately diagnosing issues, performing maintenance and repair tasks to industry standards, documenting work performed, and communicating findings and recommendations to the service team.
The technician will follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely, high-quality service.
- Ability to perform core vehicle maintenance tasks, including Vehicle Maintenance and Oil Changes.
- Proficiency in Automotive Repair and Maintenance & Repair across common vehicle systems.
- Experience inspecting, diagnosing, and servicing Suspension components.
- Knowledge of automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic methods, with strong attention to detail.
- Relevant technical training or certification in automotive technology; ASE certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic in a shop or dealership environment.
- Ability to follow safety protocols, work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and collaborate with a service team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate customer and company vehicles.
